Hiding user visits in google analytics

How to hide my visits in google analytics

Google analytics is great for determining how your visitors are using your site and how many visitors there are. It's important that we don't include our own visits and also visits from employees from our company. This can be done by creating a filter.

To create the filter we need to change our select boxes to read 'Exclude', 'traffic from IP Addresses', 'that are equal to' and finally add in the IP Address of our internet connection.

Our statistical data should now be more accurate as only external visitors will be recorded.
